They announced the happy news on social media, sharing a cute animated video featuring their pet dog, Joey, holding a sign that read, “Welcome lil sis.” In his post, Varun expressed gratitude for the well-wishes they received, stating, “Our baby girl is here. Hail Ram, Hail Ram, Ram Rama, Hail Hail Krishna, Hail Krishna, Krishna Hail Hail.”
On Amitabh Bachchan’s show Kaun Banega Crorepati, Varun revealed that they named their daughter Lara. When Amitabh mentioned that this Diwali would be special with Goddess Lakshmi coming to their home, Varun, filled with joy, confirmed the name and reflected on the changes that a baby brings to life, saying, “I’m still learning to connect with her.”

Amitabh humorously shared that they had a machine that would alert them to even the slightest noise from the baby, providing a sense of reassurance.
Their wedding was a small affair attended by close friends and family. In a previous interview with Kareena Kapoor, Varun recounted meeting Natasha in the sixth grade, saying, “We were friends till the eleventh or twelfth grade. We were very close friends. I remember seeing her and, when I saw her that day, I felt like I fell in love with her.” The couple announced their pregnancy in February.
