Kangana Ranaut’s Surprising Praise for Vikrant Massey’s “12th Fail” Raises Eyebrows

Date:

With Vikrant Massey and Medha Shankar in the key parts, Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s most recent biographical drama, “12th Fail,” has garnered surprising appreciation from Bollywood’s outspoken star Kangana Ranaut on social media. Acclaimed for her controversial comments, Ranaut said she loved the film and even hinted that Vikrant Massey would “fill the void left by Irrfan Khan.”

Ranaut talked about her intense movie-watching experience. She acknowledged, “What a terrific film… coming from hindi medium myself, belonging to a rural village and being a general caste student for entry tests without reservations in my school years, I was weeping through out the film. Ufff, never cried so much in a flight; my co passengers were stealing concerned glances at me. I am embarrassed,” She continued by praising Vikrant Massey and describing him as “beyond amazing.

“Vidhu sir has won my heart all over again. Vikrant Massey is beyond amazing!! In his coming years he might just fill the void Irffan Khan saab left behind… salutations to your talent dear one,” she continued. She added“IPS Manoj Kumar Sharma and his wife IRS Shraddha Joshi’s unbelievable love story is a must-watch,” she added while sharing pictures of the two civil servants.

This surprising support is a sharp contrast to Ranaut’s previous atrocious remarks on Massey. For the uninitiated, Ranaut referred to Vikrant as a ‘cockroach’in 2021 in response to his comment on Yami Gautam’s post. The Vicky Donor actress once posted a photo from one of her wedding receptions. Vikrant commented on the photo, saying, “Pure & Pious like Radhe Maa!” Kangana reacted to Massey’s remark, “Kahan se nikla ye cockroach..lao meri chappal.” (Where did this bug come from? Get my slipper, please.)

Kangana previously praised Shah Rukh Khan for his renaissance at the age of 57 and praised Atlee Kumar’s “Jawan”. “From being the ultimate lover boy of the nineties to a decade long struggle again to reinvent his connection with his audience in his late forties to mid-fifties and ultimately rising as the quintessential Indian mass superhero at the age of 60 (almost) Is nothing short of superheroic even in real life” remarked Kangana. “I remember the time when people wrote him off and mocked his choices, but his struggle is a master class for all those artists who enjoying long careers but must reinvent and reestablish. SRK is the cinema God that India needs not just for hugs or dimples but for some serious world-saving as well Bowing down to your perseverance, hard work and humility King Khan. @iamsrk #Jawan,” she added.

This time, she joined celebrities like Kamal Haasan and Anu Malik in complimenting actor Vikrant Massey for his flawless performance in “12th Fail,” as well as the movie itself.

The sudden change in Kangana Ranaut’s attitude begs the concerns regarding how she always changes her mind and whether she can still recognize brilliance in spite of prior differences. Will Ranaut’s attitude toward other performers change as a result of this sudden recognition, or is it merely a brief break from her often volatile social media persona?

In addition to upending stereotypes, Kangana Ranaut’s unexpected recognition of Vikrant Massey’s skill and “12th Fail” offer a new level of nuance to Bollywood. The story’s development presents issues regarding the dynamics inside the business and the likelihood of reconciliations, highlighting that unexpected alliances and disputes are commonplace in Bollywood’s dynamic terrain.
