TMKOC changed Jheel’s life forever. She recalled how the cast became her extended family and how fans would approach her for photos wherever she went. From sharing laughs with Tapu Sena to creating memorable moments on set, the show left a lasting impact on her.
Jheel often reminisces about the unforgettable memories she made during her time on the show. She fondly recalled the dahi handi episode where she broke the handi with Tapu Sena’s support. Another special memory was when the entire set celebrated her birthday after she missed her school trip for the shoot.

But despite the fame, Jheel decided to quit the show in 2012 to focus on her board exams and secure her future. Though the decision was tough, she prioritized her education over her career. “All good things must come to an end,” she reflected.
Why Did Jheel Leave Acting
Jheel continued to appear in advertisements until 2019. However, her father’s health issues prompted her to step away from the entertainment industry. She took charge of her father’s business, showing her strength and determination to prioritize family over fame.
Jheel has an Executive Master of Business Administration from Ottawa University.
While she briefly dabbled in makeup artistry, she has since ventured into entrepreneurship. Jheel proudly runs Safe Student Housing, a student accommodation business offering a safe haven for students.
Jheel shared, “I have a business called Safe Student Housing. It is a student accommodation.”
Even after 12 years since leaving TMKOC, Jheel is still fondly remembered as Sonu. She once shared a story about how, during an overseas trip, an Indian family excitedly recognized her, saying, “Areh! Humari Sonu yaha kya kar rahi hai?” Jheel said, “It’s surprising how just one character made me a part of India’s childhood. What greater blessing could an actor ask for?”
