Shiprocket, India’s leading eCommerce enablement platform, has announced a strategic partnership with CriticaLog — a specialized logistics provider known for handling high-value, time-sensitive shipments. This collaboration marks Shiprocket’s entry into the premium shipping category, focusing on the safe and secure transportation of gold, diamond, and silver jewellery, as well as other luxury items.

With the rise of online sales in the gems and jewellery sector, ensuring safe and tamper-proof delivery has become a growing concern, especially for smaller players in the market. CriticaLog brings its expertise in handling high-risk shipments — offering secure packaging, strong room storage, and a zero-pilferage protocol. Shiprocket complements this with its advanced logistics technology and expansive delivery network.

The combined capabilities of both companies offer jewellers a reliable logistics solution, ensuring that every high-value item is shipped with the utmost care and security.

Nationwide Rollout Across 5000+ Pincodes

The service is currently live and operational in more than 5000 pincodes across India, including all major metropolitan cities such as Delhi, Mumbai, and Chennai. Merchants can now ship high-value items with confidence, leveraging a system that supports:

  • Prepaid shipments up to ₹5,00,000
  • Cash-on-delivery for shipments up to ₹49,999
  • Pick-up from 250 cities
  • 59 operational hubs across 40 key locations

The platform has already fulfilled multiple orders in March 2025 through Shopnek.com, with an average shipment value of ₹90,000, underscoring the market readiness for secure jewellery logistics.

Supporting India’s Jewellery Sector and SMEs

India’s jewellery industry contributes over 7% to the national GDP and includes more than 3 lakh enterprises, the majority of which are SMEs. As eCommerce becomes more integral to business growth, the demand for dependable and scalable logistics solutions has intensified.

This partnership is a significant step toward empowering small and medium-sized jewellers by providing them with access to the same level of security and efficiency traditionally available only to large retailers.

Leadership Insight

Commenting on the partnership, Saahil Goel, MD & CEO, Shiprocket, stated:

“At Shiprocket, we are focused on building the infrastructure that enables every merchant in Bharat to thrive in the digital economy. Our partnership with CriticaLog ensures that even the smallest jewellers have access to premium logistics solutions, allowing them to compete with the largest players in the market with confidence and trust.”
